Two Putti with hands ready to carry

Size option 3.2cm high

These are simply the most beautiful little putti who are ready to hold your treasured item. Originally they held a candelabra (which will be available soon) and were created to be the corner and end stair posts on a grand stairway. A few of my busts fit the stand that is positioned between the Putti hands - see images.

The item is supplied unpainted and in an off white almost alabaster type resin finish. It will be supplied ready for tidying which will mean small nodules will need to be sanded or snapped off - this is super easy to do and takes just a minute or two.

"The chubby cherubs are the models for the lantern-bearing bronze figures that still flank the stairs at the Royal Palace. They were made by Jacques-Philippe Bouchardon, who had been hired in 1741 as court sculptor for the palace works. The architect Carl Hårleman had been in Paris with his pupil Carl Johan Cronstedt in 1731-1732 to recruit skilled French craftsmen for the palace works in Stockholm." ref Nationalmuseum Sweden
